After successfully completing an 11 date North American Tour, Wax Tailor is back with a new single. This Train is perhaps the most beloved track of Wax Tailor’s new album In The Mood For Life. A genre blending masterpiece, the track brings together the talents of Rapper Voice and Roots singer Ali Harter.
Each Wax Tailor album is a human adventure. And because JC Le Saoult is a self managed artist who commited to releasing records independently 5 years ago, the process of recording all the instruments, vocalists, rappers and achieving a coherent whole is a daunting task. Director Pierre Jampy followed Wax Tailor around during the making of this new album, and the result is this 18 minute featurette that we hope you will enjoy.
Wax Tailor will be releasing a single in June and we would like to involve some of you in the making of the video.
Wax Tailor will be headlining the “I Kiffe NY” showcase on Friday October 24th at the Hiro Ballroom. This will be the first DJ / VJ set by Wax Tailor in the US.
