Off their debut US album Priceless Concrete Echoes comes the single Sabotage from the pEneLOpe[s], a high energy cover of the classic Beastie Boys song complete with it’s own homage of the infamous Spike Jonze video.
Each Wax Tailor album is a human adventure. And because JC Le Saoult is a self managed artist who commited to releasing records independently 5 years ago, the process of recording all the instruments, vocalists, rappers and achieving a coherent whole is a daunting task. Director Pierre Jampy followed Wax Tailor around during the making of this new album, and the result is this 18 minute featurette that we hope you will enjoy.
French indie electronic duo The pEneLOpe[s] take many of their cues from contemporaries like M83, Cut Copy, and MGMT, mixing a distinctly pop sensibility that draws on Brit pop from the early 90′s with elements of synth pop and early House that appeal to home listeners as well as club kids.
