Wax Tailor 'In The Mood For Life' Out Today!

Wax Tailor is back with a new album! In The Mood For Life was recorded during the past 12 months between Paris and New York, and finds the Tailor redefining the boundaries between abstract hip-hop, soul and 60′s pop once again.
This new album features familiar collaborators such as songstress Charlotte Savary, rappers Voice, Mattic from The Others, and A.S.M., as well as some new faces such as Dionne Charles from the UK soul revival band Baby Charles, the ethereal vocal talent of Sara Genn from New York, Scandinavian B-Boys Speech Defect, roots revelation Ali Harter and UK crooner Charlie Winston, whose French debut album is the revelation of the year. Special care was given to all the string arrangements, which really take center stage this time, and genres now collide within the confines of a song. You can discover a trailer of the album here.

Each Wax Tailor album is a human adventure. And because JC Le Saoult is a self managed artist who commited to releasing records independently 5 years ago, the process of recording all the instruments, vocalists, rappers and achieving a coherent whole is a daunting task. Director Pierre Jampy followed Wax Tailor around during the making of this new album, and the result is this 18 minute featurette that we hope you will enjoy.
